National Apprenticeship Week 2025

Power and Infrastructure Resourcing (PIR) is proud to support a dedicated week to showcase how apprenticeships have helped employers and individuals of all ages and backgrounds. Our apprenticeship schemes provide real-world experience, hands-on learning, and the chance to build careers across various areas.

PIR are delighted to have many apprentices on board and this year; we are celebrating National Apprenticeship Week by providing an insight into two of our apprentices: Lauren Feasey and Adam Mohammed.

Lauren Feasey, Commercial Control Assistant said “Joining PIR as an Apprentice has helped me expand my knowledge and gain a lot more confidence. Upon completion of my apprenticeship scheme, I’m hoping to have the opportunity and progress into a Quantity Surveying role or even consider project management. I would recommend my apprenticeship with PIR to others; it unlocks countless opportunities, knowledge and skills – it’s a role that keeps you on your toes with endless opportunities within the rail industry.”

Adam Mohammed, apprentice administrator added “I began my journey with PIR in June 2023 as an Administrator. Since my apprenticeship scheme began, I have met some great people within the rail industry who have immensely supported me in this brand-new environment. PIR as a business has helped me, along with other apprentices, to grow both in academics and character, bringing out the best of us.”

Apprenticeships are a great way to learn relevant skills whilst also making a valuable contribution to the success of the organisation you are joining.
